Cheryl Trautman assumed ownership of the Picket Fence Quilt Shop in 2007. Cheryl’s many years of sewing experience (both professionally and as a lifelong hobby) led to her deep love of quilting. What started as a simple hobby for her soon became a “full-time” passion that she thoroughly enjoys! Cheryl, along with fellow employees Sue and Lydia, would love to meet you, visit with you, and discover how they can make your quilting experiences fun and fulfilling!
The Picket Fence Quilt Shop is located in the quaint town center of Aurora, Nebraska, and has fabrics for everyone’s tastes - from traditional to contemporary. The shop’s patterns, notions, and books also reflect a broad range of styles. The PC Quilter (a hands-free computerized quilting machine), the Hinterburg frame, Voyager 17, and Janome sewing machines are all sold here. Be sure to inquire about custom quilting.
“Block of the Month” projects and various quilting classes are offered at Picket Fence Quilt Shop. “All-night” sewing sessions are also held for those looking for some fun evenings full of friendship and laughs!
